Day 77 Assignment
This evening (or tomorrow morning):
- Awareness exercise: You watched your mind for attack thoughts. Recall one situation that stands out to you now, and write about it as if you were writing a novel. It’s possible clarity may arise as you write with awareness. If it doesn’t, remember “awareness alone is curative.”
- Read NTI Mark 3 in full.
Tomorrow:
- At a time that is convenient for you, set a timer for 10 minutes; temporarily let go of thought about what is going on with your life, and settle in with the calling to go deeper within.
- Consider the challenges that Jesus faced in NTI Mark 3. The religious leaders were more interested in personal power than spiritual truth; his family was more interested in special relationship than spiritual truth; those who followed him were more interested in the physical than spiritual truth. Pause at least 6 times during the day; notice if spiritual truth is your top value or if other values have more of your interest. Ask yourself, “Am I willing to make spiritual truth my highest priority?”
