I hit the REPLY like always. A screen popped up “there was a problem with your draft”. All that was written disappeared. Where did it go?
Do not know Abigail. I put in a support request but I fear it is lost in the wind. It’s a good practice to do your entries in a word document and then copy and paste into the forum. Especially if it’s going to be a long post. Sorry this is not better news. If I hear anything different from WpForo support I will post it here. 🍷Â
Ok, so I could not recreate a problem so without seeing exactly what happened, I’m at a loss to what options you might have had BUT….
Look at this picture. As you start typing, below the post you’ll see a row that says PREVIEW REVISIONS and SAVE DRAFT. This is relatively new, must have come in the last update. But as you are typing, every 30 seconds or so, the post is saved. As you are typing you can click on Draft if you want and a revision is saved. If you click on REvisions, what ever was saved will open up below. AND below each version you have the option to restore or delete that version.
Unfortunately once you hit Reply or Update… the revisions/drafts disappear. So I would still say, if you are going to write a long piece, I’d write it in a word processor and cut and paste it into the post. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
Blessings 💕 Â

Apart from free survey software, we also have access to QuestionPro’s free survey templates. We’ve found many of them useful and powerful to collect insights from various stakeholders of our organization.
