I live in Western Mass. My family is all grown up and living their lives. I have an independent husband who is supportive and yet is comfortable to let me journey on this spiritual path as I feel called. And what a journey! Born Catholic, then dabbled with a Protestant church that incorporated Episcopalian, Baptist and something else I can’t remember. Discovered Rudolf Steiner and studied that for over 10 years. Felt a strong pull to the Quaker way of worship, silence. Very involved in social justice issues for a long time, union member, Stone Soup Kitchen, working with a Recovery group to house the homeless, supporting politicians I felt were like minded.. Then about 5 years ago, I read an article that said Eckhart Tolle had studied the Course in Miracles and remembered I had dabbled in that back in the 70s and picked it up again. And my journey took an inward turn. Instead of looking outside myself, I started to look within. Then a couple of years ago a friend introduced me to Awakening Together and Regina’s teachings.
What I love most about AT is the openness and allowance for each person to follow their own guidance. There’s no “one right way” to find one’s way back to the Truth. That resonated with the way my path has revealed itself to me.
Right now, silence is a big part of where I am. The self-inquiry practice that leads to the seeing that there is no Aggie. Reading John Wheeler and Bob Adamson. That thoughts are just that, thoughts…not facts. Being present in the moment, allowing… loving what is.
I enjoy crafts (felting, knitting, drawing) writing, music and spending time in nature.
