Week One: Letting go of Fear

Fear can be experienced in many ways. It may feel like uneasiness or angst, which blocks your ability to relax fully; it may be experienced as nervousness, apprehension or excessive worry; it may be experienced as absolute terror. Fear can also be repressed and experienced as other emotions, such as frustration or anger. In any case, fear distorts your perception and your ability to think clearly with the right mind. At this retreat, you will come to understand the cause of fear and learn how you can become free of fear.

Retreat Schedule

The retreat will begin on Monday at 9am and end by 3pm on Friday.

Week Two:
Satsang with Regina Dawn Akers

Sep 18-21   (Mon – Thurs)

Join Awakening Together’s founder, Regina Dawn Akers, for a 4-day Satsang at our Retreat House in La Veta, Colorado.  Satsang topics will be inspired and spontaneous.

There will also be opportunity for open question and answer periods. The purpose of Satsang is to help you take your next step with God, whatever that next step may be.

The retreat will begin on Monday at 9am and end at 6pm on Thursday.

How to Get to the Awakening Together Retreat House

Are you traveling to La Veta? If you are attending an in-person retreat in La Veta, please be aware that the layout of the Retreat House requires participants to climb stairs several times a day. Please contact us to discuss any physical or mobility limitations and any health restrictions (e.g., heart and lung) prior to registering, so we can make sure we are able to accommodate your needs.
