How to Provide Spiritual Mentoring:
A Training Program for
Awakening Together Ordained Ministers

March 26 – May 7, 2024 (No class April 30)
A spiritual mentor is an ordained minister who shares spiritual guidance with someone who is having difficulty recognizing their own inner wisdom due to mental or emotional obstacles. The primary purpose of any mentoring relationship is to help the mentored individual become Self-reliant with inner spiritual wisdom as soon as possible.
In this 6-week program, you will learn how to:
- Determine if you are ready to provide spiritual mentoring.
- Decide if there are limits on the type of spiritual mentoring you will provide.
- Bring clear, nonjudgmental awareness to the mentoring session.
- Guide from inner spiritual wisdom instead of the limited intellectual mind.
You will also have the opportunity to provide spiritual mentoring and receive feedback on your mentoring technique.
This curriculum is designed solely for Awakening Together Ordained Ministers since Awakening Together policy indicates that only an Ordained Minister may provide spiritual counseling for Awakening Together members and friends.
Program Schedule
This training program will be provided through Zoom on Tuesday evenings, beginning March 26 and running through May 7 (No class April 30). The program will begin at 6pm ET (4pm MT) each week and conclude by 8pm ET (6pm MT). There may be light ‘homework’ assigned between weekly sessions.
