As we bid farewell to our current Sanctuary Director, we’re excited to announce the evolution of the role into two distinct positions. We are currently seeking applications for the role of Part-Time Sanctuary Director.
Position Overview:
- Type: Part-Time Managerial Role
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, including evening hours
- Location Requirements: Must be based in the United States with legal work authorization
- Affiliation: Should either be an Awakening Together Minister or be open to becoming one
- Technical Requirements: Must have a stable high-speed internet connection
Essential Skills:
- Digital Proficiency: Skilled in using WordPress, social media, YouTube, and internet broadcasting tools
- Multimedia Expertise: Experience in video editing and creating engaging content
- Administrative Abilities: Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Leadership and Communication: Strong skills in both areas are crucial
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and community
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Oversee the assistant Sanctuary Director and manage volunteer Sanctuary Admins
- Sanctuary Management: Responsible for opening, closing, and monitoring the online Sanctuary to align with our core values and etiquette
- Broadcast Operations: Manage the Awakening Together Sanctuary Broadcast (Radio)
- Sanctuary Program Coordination: Handle announcements and recordings of Sanctuary events, and maintain the Sanctuary schedule
- Leadership Role: Participate in the Member Board of Trustees and the Leadership Subcommittee
- Communication: Address emails and calls related to the Sanctuary
- Technical Support: Resolve issues related to the Sanctuary, YouTube, and Internet Broadcast
