Last night in GH2 Dawn mentioned this children’s book and I’d never read it so I got a copy today and did just that. What a lovely story! And it is exquisitely tender. If you’ve never read it, I’d suggest it. If you have young children or grandchildren it would be a great gift. Not to spoil the end but this was so beautiful.
And so the Little Soul wanted more than ever to grant the Friendly Soul’s request. “What can I do for you?” the Little Soul asked again.
“In the moment that I strike you and smite you,” the Friendly Soul replied, “in the moment that I do the worst to you that you could possibly imagine—in that very moment…”
“Yes?” the Little Soul interrupted, “yes…?”
The Friendly Soul became quieter still. “Remember Who I Really Am.”
“Oh, I will!” cried the Little Soul, “I promise! I will always remember you as I see you right here, right now!”
If we would remember, if I would remember this in this life.
“Always remember: I have sent you nothing but angels.”

Thank you Aggie, how did you get the book so fast!!!!! I searched it today and found it on youtube and had it read to me, yes so very tender. Thank you Dawn for sharing this book. I too will remember those lines Aggie.
